Rooms & Rates
Rocklands Hostel offers long-term and casual accommodation. For long-term our minimum period of stay is six weeks. Residents who have checked in and wish to leave within this six week period for whatever reason will be charged a daily rate and further administration fee. Residents are required to give us 48 hours notice to check out.

Gillies Single
(Small – 6.5 sq mtrs) – $400.00 bond/$25 per day long term
Contains: Single bed, Wardrobe, chest of draws, Storage locker, student desk & chair, carpet, radiator heater. Mixed accommodation
We currently only have 1 double room and 2 single rooms available
Rae Single
(Medium – 7.4 sq mtrs) $400.00 bond / $26 per day long term
There is currently no vacancy in Rae building.
Contains: Single bed, Wardrobe, Chest of draws, Storage locker, Student Desk & Chair, Carpet, Radiator heater. Mixed accommodation
Volkerling Single
(Large – 9 sq mtrs) $400.00 bond/$27 per day long term
There is currently 1 single room available. A double room is currently under renovation and available on the 25/2/2012
Contains: Single bed, Wardrobe, Chest of draws, Storage Lockers, Bookcases, Student Desk & Chair, Vanity Unit with Mirror, Radiator heater. Mixed accommodation
Volkerling Double
$500 Bond / $42.15 per day long term
There is currently no double rooms available in Volkerling.
Wiren Single (females only)
(Large – 9 sq mtrs) $400.00 bond/$27.15 per day long term
Currently only 4 rooms available
Contains: Single bed, Wardrobe, Chest of draws, Storage Lockers, Bookcases, Student Desk & Chair, Vanity Unit with Mirror, Carpet, Radiator heater. Female only
Rocklands Hostel has a limited number of Double rooms, Twin rooms and ensuites. Please inquire at reception for availability and rates or call Shehana 021 841 930.
Upon checking in residents are totally responsible for their own room and personal belongings.
Although rent can be paid either by Cash, EFTPOS or Mastercard/Visa we prefer rent to be paid by automatic payment on the anniversary of your date of checking in. There is a zero tolerance for rent arrears.
